India in contact with Moscow for early 'release' of nationals working for Russian Armed force

India on Friday said it was in contact with Moscow for right on time "release" of Indians filling in as care staff to Russian Armed force and encouraged its nationals to avoid the contention zone in Ukraine.

The remarks by Outer Issues Service representative Randhir Jaiswal came following a report that a few Indians are filling in as care staff to the Russian Armed force in the contention zone.

"We know that a couple of Indian nationals have pursued help occupations with the Russian armed force," Jaiswal said.

He said the Indian government office in Moscow has routinely taken up this matter with the applicable Russian experts for their "initial release".

"We ask all Indian nationals to practice due wariness and avoid this contention," he said.

As per media reports, a few Indians have been filling in as security partners in the Russian military, and they had to battle with Russian warriors in specific regions along Russia's line with Ukraine.

All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) pioneer Asaduddin Owaisi had asked the outside illicit relationships service to save the Indians.

"Sir @DrSJaishankar sympathetically utilize your great workplaces to bring these men back home. Their lives are in danger and their families are legitimately stressed," Owaisi said on X on Wednesday.
