BJP SC Morcha misleading community: JKRCEA

| Jammu |

JKRCEA retired, socio-religious and youth wing in a press conference severely criticized BJP SC Morcha leaders for misleading and misguiding SC masses in J&K by virtue of putting false claims that overall condition of SCs has tremendously improved under Modi dispensation in last 06 years. In unanimous voice all the members present in the press briefing said that in reality overall ground condition of SCs since 2014 has deteriorated badly under BJP rule not only in J&K but whole of the India. The atrocities on Dalit have increased several folds be it beating and deaths of Dalits in Gujrat, Rajasthan, UP and other BJP ruled states, be it death of Rohith Vemula, be it dilution of SCST atrocities Act, be it demolition of Ancient Guru Ravidass Gurudawara in Delhi, and constitutionally vested right of Reservation in employments including Reservation in Promotions. They said that since 2014 onwards Modi government never projected/ talked on the issues of SCST component plans, there is no talk of practically implementing welfare measures for SCSTs as enshrined in constitution of India but there is a definite game plan of destroying the basic essence of the Constitution in a phased manner. Above all, whenever atrocities on Dalits happen, none of the BJP leaders open their mouth. The democratic values have been sidelined and a sort of Dictatorial Democracy has fast gained ground in India. Prof. G.L. Thapa while addressing the media said that SCSTs and OBCs pinned hopes that after the abrogation of article 370 there shall be extension of all the Constitutional provisions to J&K including Article 16 (4-A, B & C) and SCSI Atrocities Act as well as Mandal Commission Report and 27% reservation benefits to OBCS as per central laws. But in reality the atrocities on SCSTs have increased several folds starting from a girl child's rape & murder in Hiranagar, atrocities on Dalit women Sarpanches in Doda & Kishtwar and now murder of a youth from Udhampur by the goons backed by a political party. The promises made by our Hon'ble PM Sh. Narnder Modi ji have totally turned out to be false but now the BJP is using their SCST pimps and projecting them as BJP SC Morcha leaders who are selling lies to the SC masses. Similarly ST leaders in BJP are also working as stooges. It was told that whenever, BJP SC Morcha leaders have to speak regarding issues pertaining to SCs, they need permissions from their bosses in BJP, even the so called Senior SC leaders in BJP have no guts to take up issues of SCs without the permission of State President or the other upper caste senior leaders of BJP. Sham Lai Basson, Head of socio-religious wing of JKRCEA while addressing the press conference urged upon the LG of JK UT to get all the constitutional provisions implemented on ground in JK UT as promised by the Central government while abrogating article 370 last August, like SCST atrocities Act, Reservation in Promotions, 27% reservation to OBCs and all other provisions as envisaged in Col for the welfare of SCSTOBCs. He also reminded him of the promises he made to the delegation of SCST intellectuals last month, the LG must act as a true statesman and as he is representing central government, hence he is duty bound to direct for practical implementation of SCSI atrocities act in J&K UT, he should also direct bureaucracy to immediately restore Reservation in Promotions for SCST in J&K as mandated by Col. The bureaucracy should not be allowed to kill reservation in promotions, the way they are doing it since 2015 onwards. Bodh Raj Bhagat, All India Senior Vice President of Bhagat Mahaabha while express'oq. his view said that even after more than seventy years of independence the atrocities on SCSI.' have not vanished. The murder of a 24 year youth in Udhampur is live example. The sick and castesist mind set of upper caste people is well gauzed from the fact that even in government sector even the highly placed SCSTOBC officer are not treated respectfully and bureaucrats and senior officers leave no stones unturned to harsh them in offices. The anti reservation bureaucracy led by CS B.V.R Subramanyam & Law secretary Achal Sethi is sabotaging the issue since last 05 years without any answerability. They are neither implementing Col, nor Presidential Order and they are also not interested to get the matter of Reservation in Promotions disposed off from the Supreme Court. He warned that answerability of these top bureaucrats should be fixed, otherwise SCSTOBCs shall teach a good lesson to the present ruling dispensation when the time comes. The issue of harassment of officers of SCST on panel seniorities was also projected. It was said that many senior SCST officers are being ignored by bureaucracy while giving them senior positions in the administrative echelons. A clear warning was extended to BJP SC Morcha leaders not to act as Stooges of their political bosses, and they should not spread lies on the directions of their political bosses, if they do not desist from such false propaganda, the SC masses shall be teaching them a good lesson including open agitation against them. If these SC Morcha leaders have any influence or say in the BJP, they should compel BJP to implement Col in J&K in totality and give practical shape to their promises that till date have turned out to be big lies. It was further demanded that SIT must be constituted to probe the real cause of the death of SC youth in Udhampur, a fool proof security should be given to the family of the deceased and if anything happens to the family of the deceased the government shall be responsible for that and we shall be compelled to agitate statewide. Others who attended press conference include Sh. Mohinder Bhagat, Sh. Som Raj Taroch, Sh. Samsher Chand Mon, Prof. Kali Dass, Sh. M. L. Banalia, Sh. Bharat Hans, Sh. Bahadur Lal, Sh. Bihari Lal, Sh. Faqir Chand, Smt. Sunita Bangotra, Sh. Narinder Dutt, Sh. Raspal Bhardwaj, Sh. Pritam Singh, Sh. Manoj Kumar, Sh. Vishal Bhagat.
