Israel diminishes troops in south Gaza; Egypt to have new discussions

Israel said on Sunday it had removed additional officers from southern Gaza, leaving only one unit, as it and Hamas sent groups to Egypt for new discussions over a potential truce in the half year struggle.

Israel has been lessening numbers in Gaza starting from the beginning of the year to assuage reservists and is feeling the squeeze from its partner Washington to advance the helpful circumstance, particularly after last week's killing of seven guide laborers.
