Cold wave hits Kashmir, Srinagar records 0.9 degree Celsius

The mercury transcended edge of freezing over all things considered places in Kashmir the previous evening as occupants got rest from cold and haze, authorities said on Friday.

Srinagar, the late spring capital of Jammu and Kashmir, recorded a base temperature of 0.9 degrees Celsius, the authorities said.
