Two forest department employees sustained injuries after they were shot at by unknown gunmen in the Pulwama district of South Kashmir, on Wednesday. They have been identified as Jahangir Ahmad Chechi and Imran Yousuf. Both the injured were taken to a local hospital. Yusuf was later shifted to SMHS Hospital in critical condition.
The duo was fired upon while patrolling the Sonabanjar forest area near Bagandar Bridge during the night, media reports said.
