Directives by the Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Government time and again regarding engagement of recognized labs for testing meals under the Mid-day Meal Scheme (MDMS) has failed to serve the purpose. The US authorities have yet to initiate the process of engagement of recognized labs for testing of meals being served to schoolchildren.
