Srinagar, June 10, 2025: With four top honors in the Private Sector (Medium Size) category for excellence in cyber security and resilience, J&K Bank has added yet another noteworthy feather to its digital crown as a major winner at the prestigious IBA CISO Summit & Citations-2025. "Elevating Cyber Resilience: Protect, Adapt, and Thrive" was the event's theme. In addition to a Special Prize for Cyber Security Incident Response Mastery, the Bank received four significant honors at the summit: Cyber Security Transformation of the Year, Cyber Security Compliance Champion, and Cyber Security Team of the Year. The Indian Banks' Association (IBA) in Mumbai presented the honors, which acknowledged the Bank's persistent and strong work in strengthening its cyber security posture, safeguarding client information, and establishing safe online banking procedures. The jury, which included Chief Market Information Security Officer & Data Protection Officer (NPCI) Pravin Kumar, CEO (Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, Telangana – DSCI) Dr Sriram Birudavolu, and Advisor to NCIIPC/Ex CGM/Group CISO (SBI) Anil Bhandari, presented the awards to the Bank's CISO, Muneer Hassan Konga Wani, last week. Senior Advisor (IBA) K Srinivasa Rao and Deputy Chief Executive (IBA) Gopal Murli Bhagat were also in attendance. In front of Executive Director Sudhir Gupta and General Managers, MD & CEO Amitava Chatterjee praised and commended the Bank's IT & IS personnel for their accomplishment.

In particular, at a time when the Bank is expanding its digital footprint across geographies, he said, "Winning multiple awards at such a prestigious platform reflects the Bank's strategic direction, collective effort, and commitment of the IT & IS team towards strengthening the Bank's digital and cyber resilience."

Significantly, the IBA CISO Summit draws top bank executives, regulatory bodies, and CISOs, information security audit chiefs, and data protection officers in addition to the best cybersecurity providers in the market.
