Ten individuals passed on and a few others were absent as a stone quarry fell in Mizoram's Aizawl region on Tuesday morning in the midst of unremitting downpours as an effect of tornado Remal, police said.
The episode occurred around 6 am in a space among Melthum and Hlimen on the southern edges of the Aizawl town, they said.
Ten bodies have been recuperated up until this point, while a few others are as yet caught under the trash, Chief General of Police (DGP) Anil Shukla told PTI.
