Canadian singer Grimes (Claire Boucher) is suing her ex-boyfriend and tech billionaire Elon Musk for being the "parent" of one of their three children.
Grimes filed a "petition to establish parental responsibility" in a California court, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
"The request is for the court to recognize the legal parents of the child if they are unmarried," the report states.
The child's identity has not been released, but reports say Grimes is related to their youngest son, Tau, who was born last year. According to Grimes, Musk "doesn't let her see her kids." Last month, Grimes posted on X that she was taking some kind of legal action against Musk.
"Tell Elon I'll see my son or answer my lawyer," she wrote in response to Musk biographer Walter Isaacson.
Musk reportedly has yet to respond.
Musk and musician Grimes welcomed their first son in 2020. In 2021, a few months after their split, they had a daughter via surrogate. Isaacson revealed in his "Elon Musk" biography that they had a third child (named Techno Mechanicus) in 2022.

In 2022, Grimes was shocked to learn that Musk was the biological father of Zilis' children.
In addition to the three children he shares with Grimes and two with Zilis, Musk also has six children with his ex-wife, Canadian writer Justine Wilson.
