Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah's recent shoulder injury has raised doubts over his participation in next month's World Cup in India.
The 20-year-old paceman was injured in Sri Lanka's Asia Cup match in Pakistan's Super-4 match against arch-rivals India.
Shah walked out in the 46th over of India's innings after injuring his right shoulder muscle.
According to ESPNCricinfo, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has analyzed the scans done on him in Dubai, which indicate that he could be sidelined for the rest of the year, which will rule him out of the World Cup.

Additionally, Pakistan is scheduled to play three Tests in Australia in December, so Shah's participation at the same time seems unlikely. The PCB is still awaiting the results of the secondary scan, which should arrive in the next few days.
Although Shah was replaced by Zaman Khan in the Asia Cup, Pakistan did not reach the final.
