The Pakistan men's cricket team arrived in Kandy on Thursday ahead of their much-anticipated match against India on Day 2. in September at the Asia Cup 2023 tournament.
Pakistan played their opening match against Nepal in Multan on Wednesday and began their Asia Cup campaign in style with an all-round display.
Centuries from skipper Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed and fiery spells from Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf helped them crush Nepal by 238 runs in the opening round of the tournament.
After the victory, Pakistan left for Kandy after catching a late night flight. Pakistan, India and Nepal are in Group A, while Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka are in Group B. The tournament will be played in a hybrid format, with Pakistan hosting four matches at two venues and Sri Lanka hosting the rest.

The six group stage matches will be followed by the Super Fours on September 6.
The final will be played by the top two teams at the end of the Super Fours on September 17 in Colombo.
