A major landslide occurred in Himachal Pradesh Kullu's Ani on Thursday, destroying eight residential buildings. No casualties were reported in that case.
The disturbing image showed a massive commercial building falling in the middle of a terrible landslide.

The video shows several buildings on the hillside as they fell with trees and debris.
LIVE videos of these buildings collapsing went viral on social media within minutes, with screams of locals fleeing the area for their lives. Deputy Commissioner Kullu Ashutosh Garg said these buildings could collapse, hence the administration vacated them a week ago in the interest of public safety.
Due to continuous rains, the floors have disappeared in the area due to which these buildings have collapsed today.
The DC said that no casualties were reported in this case. The government is closely monitoring the situation.

The prime minister said the administration understood the risk and evacuated the commercial building two days earlier. The Meteorological Department issued a "red alert" on Wednesday, forecasting heavy to very heavy rain and isolated extremely heavy rain in six of the state's 12 districts in the next 24 hours. 120 people have died in rain-related incidents in the state this month, a total of 238 people have died in Himachal Pradesh since the onset of the monsoon on June 24 and 40 are still missing. A red alert was issued in the afternoon for parts of Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Solan, and Sirmaur districts.
The Finnish Meteorological Institute also issued an orange warning for heavy or very heavy rain on Thursday. Himachal has seen three heavy rains this monsoon. The first on July 9 and 10 caused widespread destruction in Mandi and Kullu districts. Shimla and Solan districts were hit during the second spell on August 14 and 15, and Shimla city was heavily damaged in the third spell on Tuesday night.
According to the National Emergency Center, more than 12,100 houses were completely or partially damaged. The state has so far suffered a loss of 10,000 million kroner due to heavy rains.
