IPS Varun Singla, who was posted as SP Nuh, has been transferred to Bhiwani. IPS Narendra Bijarniya has been appointed as the new SP of Nuh. The announcement of the move came days after riots erupted in Nuh following an attack on a VHP procession. Varun Singla is a 2017 batch IPS officer from Haryana and joined Indian Police Service on 18.12.2019. According to reports, Varun Singla was on vacation when the clashes broke out and in his absence, Bijarniya was rushed. Narendra Bijarniya is a 2015 batch IPS officer and lives in Chandpura village. Haryana DGP PK Aggarwal himself sent him to Nuh. Bijaraniya was Nuh's SP from February 2020 to October 2021. He knows the atmosphere of the region well. The Haryana police registered 83 FIRs and 159 people were arrested after the violence in Nuh spread to Gurgram as well. Meanwhile, six people were killed in the violence in Haryana's Nuh district.
