He said ICAR has developed several new varieties of rice seeds that will be handed over to neighboring countries such as Nepal and Bangladesh under the proposed Seeds Without Borders program. “ICAR institutes have contributed to strengthening agricultural education systems in Myanmar and Afghanistan.
