OMG 2 is an effect of the 2012 film OMG in which Paresh Rawal lodged an action against God and Akshay Kumar played Lord Krishna. OMG 2 is co-produced by Akshay's Cape of Good Flicks and Viacom18 Studios.

The Hindustan Times report mentions that the effect will have a blend of fresh and old cast. Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi may spread their magic in the film while Govind Namdev, who played the part of Sadhu in OMG will also feature in OMG 2.

One further intriguing aspect of OMG 2 is that it'll bring back Arun Govil in the character of Lord Ram.
