Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today launched the new Toyota Innova Hycross in India at a starting price of Rs 18.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in eight grades across two powertrain options, the Toyota Innova Hycross price tops out at Rs 28.97 lakh (ex-showroom). The vehicle was unveiled on November 26 with its bookings commencing on the same day for a token amount of Rs 50,000. Based on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform with a monocoque frame, the new Toyota Innova Hycross boasts a more SUV-centric design rather than the MPV-focussed look of the Toyota Innova Crysta. The Toyota Innova Hycross has two engine options -- 2.0-litre VVTi petrol and 2.0-litre VVTi petrol with the fifth-generation self-charging strong hybrid electric system. The 2.0-litre VVTi petrol develops 172hp of max power and 205Nm of peak torque, and comes mated to a CVT automatic. The strong hybrid unit churns out combined max power of 184hp with the engine torque at 188Nm and the motor torque at 206Nm, and is paired with an e-drive sequential shift. The claimed Innova Hycross mileage for the strong hybrid unit is 23.24kmpl. For the petrol option, the claimed mileage is 16.13kmpl.The Toyota Innova Hycross has multiple variants -- G, GX, VX, ZX and ZX(O) -- across seven-seater and eight-seater configurations. Customers can opt for G and GX with the Innova Hycross petrol and VX, ZX and ZX(O) with the Innova Hycross strong hybrid. Below are the variant-wise Toyota Innova Hycross prices (ex-showroom).

The Toyota Innova Hycross is loaded with features like LED headlamps and taillamps, dual-function LED DRLs, 18-inch chrome alloy wheels, powered tailgate and panoramic sunroof. The front seats are ventilated. the driver seat is eight-way powered with memory function. The second row now has segment-first powered Ottoman seats. Among the notable features inside the cabin are a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Toyota's connected car tech (iConnect), 7-inch TFT instrument cluster and a nine-speaker JBL system. Features like multi-zone (front and rear) automatic climate control, electrochromic IRVM and rear sunshade are all first in the segment.
Toyota has paid ample attention to safety features in Innova Hycross. There are six airbags, a 360-degree camera and an electronic parking brake with hill hold. The vehicle now gets Toyota Safety Sense, offering features like dynamic radar cruise control, auto high beam, lane trace assist, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitor and pre-collision system.
The Toyota Innova Hycross gets a 3-year/1,00,000km standard warranty and an option for a 5-year/2,20,000km extended warranty. Other offers include 3-year free roadside assistance and an 8-year/1,60,000km hybrid battery warranty
