James Cameron's directorial Avatar: The Way of Water is unstoppable at the box office and is eyeing to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in India, alone. The film has minted Rs 250 crore so far at the Indian box office and is running successfully in the theatres. The film is marching towards $1 billion worldwide. The Way of Water, helmed by James Cameron, was released worldwide on December 16. Since its release, the film has received positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film is highly lauded for its visually appealing VFX. Avatar: The Way of Water had an eventful Christmas. The film managed to collect Rs 21 crore in India on Saturday (December 24) and Rs 24-26 crore on Sunday (December 25), making a total of Rs 250 crore in India. Talking about Avatar 2's overseas business, the film collected $600 million internationally and $250 million in North America. After 13 years, the sequel of Avatar (2009) was released Avatar: The Way of Water. The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet. Sam and Zoe reprise their roles as Jake Sully and Neytiri. The first Avatar made $2.9 million at the global box office.
