The WWE's live show in India has been reportedly postponed due to unspecified reasons. Multiple reports suggested that the company was set to stage a Smackdown-specific show at an indoor stadium in Hyderabad on January 18 next year. But the live event will not take place now. WWE's return to India after a long period of 5 years has been postponed due to unspecified reasons. While WWE did not make an official announcement regarding the event, multiple reports suggested that the company would be hosting the show at an indoor stadium in Hyderabad. The PWinsider confirmed that that show was slated to take place on January 18 in Hyderabad and the superstars of the Smackdown brand would compete in it. But WrestleVotes has now reported that the show has been postponed due to unspecified reasons. It would have been WWE's first event in India since 2017 and the WWE Universe in India will have to wait for a long time to see the superstars in action live. WWE started touring in 2021 and has been to the UK a few times for live events. WWE will return to UK in 2023. The company also staged Cash at the Castle at the Principality Stadium on September 3. WWE superstars have made 3 trips to Saudi Arabia as well. It remains to be seen when the company will make its return to India. WWE has a huge fan following in India and more than 50 million people watched Wretlemaina 38, which took place in April earlier this year.WWE hasn't hosted any premium live event since Survivor Series and there is still one month left for the next big event. Royal Rumble 2023, WWE's next premium live event, will take place in the last week of January. On the road to that event, the company will host a Smackdown on December 30 that will mark John Cena's in-ring return. WWE will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Raw in the same week as Royal Rumble. Not to forget the live events taking place every week in various towns across USA.
