India is all set to witness another phase of vaccination against COVID-19 pandemic from March 1. People above 60 and those above 45 years of age with comorbidities will be vaccinated in the second phase of the world's largest vaccination drive, which started in India on January 16. Those who are eligible for the vaccination in this phase can register themselves on the government's portal, Co-WIN (a digital platform that was formed for real-time monitoring of COVID-19 vaccine delivery) for the same. Vaccination will be done at 10,000 government and more than 20,000 private centres from March 1. The vaccine will be administered free of cost at government centres. Notably, Co-WIN digital platform is scheduled to transition from Co-WIN 1.0 to Co-WIN 2.0 on February 27 and February 28. As per the Union Health Ministry, no COVID-19 vaccination session will be scheduled during these two days.

1. Phase 2 beneficiaries will be able to register themselves on the Co-WIN app from Monday itself. There will be reportedly a walk-in provision to register at the session sites as well.
2. Co-WIN app�s new version will be GPS-enabled.
3. People will not be able to choose which vaccine (Covishield or Covaxin) they will get in the new version of the Co-WIN platform. However, they can select the date and the centre.
4. Four appointments can be made on one mobile phone.
5. "Co-WIN will be able to take registrations and appointments from multiple applications, including Aarogya Setu or any other application such as a common service app,� said RS Sharma, the Chairman of the Empowered Group on COVID-19 Vaccine Administration.

4. You can also get your family members registered on the account
5. Visit the vaccination centre on scheduled date and time and get the jab
6. Get your vaccination certificate by mentioning Reference ID
7. Those aged above 45 years will have to upload a medical certificate mentioning their comorbid conditions. The government has not yet clarified the conditions that would be included in the over-45 age group with comorbidities.
