Assam: Rhino kills one man in Kaziranga National Park

A man was killed after a rhino attacked him near the Kaziranga National Park & Tiger Reserve (KNPTR) in Assam�s Golaghat district on Monday morning. The incident took place at Geleki Da-Goshanibor village near the national park. The deceased person was identified as Boloram Orang. The incident took place when the animal was roaming in the village area and spoted the man while he was returning to his home from paddy field. According to reports, the man died on spot. Following the incident, the local police and forest staff of the national park rushed to the spot and sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem. A forest official said that the rhino came out from the national park and was roaming in the village area nearby the park. "The man was killed after a rhino attacked him on Monday morning. He died on the spot,� the forest official said.
