Woman dead, her husband and brother in law injured in road accident in J&K's Rajouri district

A Woman died while two others were injured in a road accident in Manjkote area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, Police said today.

A Police official said that a car, bearing registration number JK02AB 4075, was on the way to Jammu from Mendhar when it plunged into a roadside gorge in Katarmal village.

He said a 46-year-old woman, identified as Parveen Akhtar died on the spot while her husband Mohd Younis S/O Jan Mohammad and brother-in-law Sajad Ahmed, all residents of Kalaban Mendhar were injured.

The injured, he said, were shifted to GMC associated Hospital Rajouri for treatment.
