Defence Research and Development Organisation is inviting applications for recruitment of Junior Research Fellow in 6 vacancies available at Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL). DRDO has published a detailed advertisement in this regard at the official website i.e. drdo.gov.in. Candidates holding an Engineering/Technology degree are eligible to apply on the prescribed proforma and send the applications to [email protected] on or before the last date. The last date is 21 days from the publication of the advertisement in Employment News.

As per the detailed advertisement available at drdo.gov.in, the 6 vacancies are available for JRF-01, JRF-02 and JRF-03 posts. There are 04, 01 and 01 vacancies available for each post respectively. Selection of eligible applicants will be done through online interview. A panel of candidates will be prepared and based on the panel, vacancies will be filled up upto a period of one year. The period of fellowship is for an initial period of 2 years. Candidates are entitled to receive fellowship during this tenure at the rate of Rs 31000 per month. In addition, one will also receive House Rent Allowance admissible under rules.

Candidates are advised to go through the detailed advertisement and ensure that they fulfil all eligibility requirements before applying for the recruitment. The Candidates having a BE/B.Tech qualification in the relevant discipline with first division marks and NET/GATE qualification are eligible to apply. In addition, those who have a ME/M.Tech qualification are also eligible to apply. Candidates must also ensure that the upper age is 28 years which is the maximum limit specified by DRDO. However, in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories, the upper age limit is relaxable as per government norms in vogue.

Selection of eligible applicants will be done through web based video conferencing. DRDO will constitute a screening committee who will conduct the screening of received applications. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for attending the webs based interview through video conferencing. The details of the interview, including date and time will be intimated by DRDO in due course of time. Candidates are advised to keep a regular tab on the DRDO website for the latest updates and developments about the recruitment.

The application form must be completely filled up and scanned in the form of a single pdf file. Candidates must attach relevant supporting documents in the single pdf file along with the application form.
