Cong activist, supporters join Apni Party

Jammu, 4-September-2020

Ex-State President Youth Congress and Member All India Congress Committee (AICC) Pranav Shagotra alongwith other leaders on Friday joined Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) in presence of Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari here at Gandhi Nagar.
In a statement to the press, J&K Apni Party, President, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari alongwith Former Minister Mohammed Dilawar Mir, Provincial President Jammu, Manjit Singh, General Secretary Vikram Malhotra, Ex-MLA Shoaib Lone, among others welcomed Former Youth Congress President, Pranav Shagotra and other leaders into the Party.
Altaf Bukhari congratulated them on joining the Party and hoped that they will strengthen the party at grass root level.
�J&K Apni Party values the young generation and considers them as valuable assets of the society. They can play their active rule in removing differences and uniting the society and Jammu and Kashmir as a whole,� Bukhari.
The JKAP President Altaf Bukhari was hopeful that the youth will support the Party in its mission to bring development in both the regions of the Union Territory.
�We will work with full force taking along youth of J&K to get back our Statehood,� Bukhari said, adding that the educated youth who were politically aware can make Jammu and Kashmir�s future bright.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister Manjit Singh said that the Party has been strengthened and it has emerged as a political force in Jammu and Kashmir.
�We will work to fulfil expectation of the people of J&K. The Party stands with both the regions equally to redress issues of the people,� he added. The JKAP General Secretary, Vikram Malhotra said that the Party has gained trust among the people especially youth because they feel cheated from the previous Governments.
�The educated youth see JKAP as an alternative in Jammu and Kashmir which can give them a good future, and redress their issues. The youth are not only concerned about their employment, but their main concern is also about the education system and other related issues,� Malhotra said, adding that they will fight for their rights in true sense and no politics will be played on their name.
Meanwhile, ex-MLA and JKAP senior leader Shoaib Lone also welcomed them into the Party. �J&K Apni Party has become a hope for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir because of the Party's policies and ideology to unite the two regions. The political parties in past have played regional politics which had adverse effects on Jammu and Kashmir,� said Lone.
Lone hoped that the message of the party will be carried forward by the newly joined leaders from Congress Party.
In his address after joining the Party, Pranav Shagotra said that �We were impressed with the political agenda of the Party and its positive approach towards the suffering of the people without exploiting the emotions of the people.�
At the end, Shagotra thanked JKAP President Altaf Bukhari, Ex-Minister Mohammed Dilawar Mir, Ex-MLA Shoaib Lone, Provincial President Manjit Singh, General Secretary Vikram Malhotra and others present during the function.
Prominent among those who joined JKAP alongwith Pranav Shagotra included Parikshit Shagotra, Naveed Ahmed Chandel, Danish Ahmed Mir, Manjeet Singh, Sahil Gargotra, Mohammed Asif, Sachin Siotra, Sayeed Usman, Adil Ashraf Khan, Tanveer Khan, Yaseen Malik, Shabaaz Parveez, Adnan Malik, Umar Sheikh, Ubaid and Moteeb Ilahi and others.
Besides, JKAP leaer Shardeesh Rana facilitated joining into the Party of Jain Shingotra, Amandeep Singh, Amit Sadotra, Mahir Sharma, Arjun Gupta, Anik Shivgotra, Parshan Singh, Babu, Pankaj Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Anil Kumar, Vishal Kumar, Harsh Choudhary, Kunal Shugotra, Gourav, Rajan Sudan, and others. From JKAP, Ajaz Kazmi, Madan Lal Chalotra, Gourav Kapoor, Vajinder Singh, Sohan Singh, Sardeesh Rana, Ajaz Kazmi, Joginder, Maheshwar Vishwakarma, and others were present on the occasion.
