Kangana Ranaut is one of the names who makes headlines every second day since actor Sushant Singh Rajput's demise. The 'Queen' actress has often spoken about movie mafia, how outsiders are treated ill, and how starkids steal projects from people who do not have a Godfather in the industry.

She has gone on record to state that the mafia worked together to ruin Sushant's film career, and that she would have loved to work with Sushant in a movie. Soon after, all the projects SSR lost out on, and films which either got shelved or almost got shelved, came out in the open. One project we came across was Homi Adajania's film opposite Irrfan Khan, which Kangana Ranaut backed out of. Eventually, the film was never made, at least not with both Sushant and Irrfan in them.

Kangana Ranaut had rejected the film back in 2016, stating she had date issues. She was working on 'Rangoon' opposite Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan at that time, and was just about to commence Hansal Mehta's film 'Simran' then.
