Drug peddler nabbed with 30 rolls of Charas

The police in Rajouri district have arrested a person for smuggling Charas and recovered 30 rolls of Charas like substance from his possession.
Police said that a team headed by Station House Officer Kandi Mustaj Ahmed was on naka duty at Morha in Kandi when one person was found moving in suspicious conditions who was also carrying bag.
The said man started to behave quite suspiciously after seeing police naka after which alert cops chased and apprehended him, police said.
"During frisking, thirty rolls of Charas were recovered from the possession of peddler who have been identified as Zaheem Shah son of Mohdlammad Azam resident of Draj Budhal.
Police said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Kandi police station and further investigation is going on into the matter.
