Traders advice: Follow AYUSH guidelines to manage Covid

Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu on Wednesday emphasized that Ayurveda has a long tradition of keeping the nation healthy and its importance has increased manifold in the ongoing efforts to tackle COVID-19.
Speaking at the medical camp held at Ware House in collaboration with Indian System of Medicine (ISM), the General Secretary of Federation, Sh. Deepak Gupta briefed Traders, Employees and workers about AYUSH systems in health promotion and disease prevention. He emphasized over the profound impact and instrumental role of Ayurveda in the daily lives of human beings ever since it has evolved.
Deepak Gupta said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to all to boost their immunity by following the guidelines laid by the Ministry of AYUSH. These guidelines are based on the Ayurveda and help in maintaining a healthy and happy life. He said that the people should take care of their elders and kids by maintaining social distancing, wear masks, and boost their immunity as per guidelines framed by AYUSH as a person's natural defence system or immunity, which plays a vital role in maintaining optimum health and for defeating COVID-19.
Earlier, the medical camp was inaugurated by Dy. Director ISM Dr. Rohit Gupta in the Presence of Rattan Lal Mahajan, President of Federation, Dheeraj Gupta, Sr, Vice President, Munish Mahajan, Vice President, Abhimanyu Gupta, Secretary and Vishal Gupta, Cashier of Federation and officials of ISM Department. The camp was initiated by Federation in view of prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation wherein the experts and doctors held discussions and deliberations with the participants particularly related to their nature of job and preventive measures can be taken.
During the camp, the doctors rendered their services and examined more than 500 people. Free medicines including immunity boosters were also distributed among the attendees.
Deepak Gupta expressed gratitude to ISM Dy. Director Dr. Rohit Gupta and his team member ADMO Jammu Dr. Suresh Sharma, Dr. Ramesh Chander, Dr. Nitika Sharma and Pharmasist Adarsh Kumar for organizing such a medical camp for the benefit of the Traders, Employees and workers of Ware House Nehru Market and said that the medicines provided by them are free from side effects and need to be preferred over the allopathic ones. He said that many more camps will be organized at Ware House to help the people make themselves aware about their immunity during Corona Pandemic and overall health. He thanked directorate of ISM for accepting the request for organizing a free medical camp.
