Valmikis voice against �chura� reference

Raising voice against being referred to as �chura, the members of Valmiki community on Sunday demanded that the term �chura� should also be removed from SRO 294 of the J&K Government and J&K Reservation Rules.
The demand was raised by Valmiki Samaj through its leaders Vijay Anand Gill and Tasem Hans while addressing media here.
The duo also expressed gratitude towards the PM Modi for allowing them rights to jobs by the means of certificates of domicile. They further demanded that the community should be provided with reservation in elections to the Assembly seats in J&K.
