Instead of doling out favours to wards of terrorists, provide jobs to martyrs� children: Gaur

Demanding compassionate employment for the next-of-kin of the martyred soldiers and hike in the ex-gratia relief to their family members, Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party state secretary Captain Anil Gaur said favours being given to the wards of the slain terrorists be stopped immediately.
In a press statement, issued here Saturday, Capt Gour, castigated the UT administration and BJP Govt at the Centre for their alleged continued favouring of terrorists and their Next of Kin (NOK) whilst totally ignoring the sacrifice of the armed forces martyrs and their wards and family members. He termed this as carrying forward of the policies of NC-Congress-PDP Govts.
�Today the people of J&K stand shocked and betrayed by the BJP Govt in the Center and its erstwhile MLA�s in the PDP-BJP Govt. which carried on the policy of appeasing the Terrorists & favouring their NOK by showering Jobs & Scholarships on them. Were these BJP MLA�s sleeping or are they so incompetent that they did not understand how the previous NC � Congress Govt was rewarding the terrorists� Capt. Gour asked.
�All previous Govts in J&K favoured Terrorists over the Patriotic Armed Forces & it seems that this has also been continued by the present UT Govt & the BJP Govt in the Center. Under SRO � 43 Compassionate Appointment is given to NOK of Martyrs �In the Lowest Rank of Non-Gazetted Service OR Class IV� only even though they may be qualified for a higher post. This appointment too has to be availed within 1year. Shockingly Ex-Gratia Relief for Martyred Armed Forces personnel of J&K is given only if they lay down their life within the UT & No Ex-Gratia is given if they are Martyred in operations outside the UT borders. Our braves who are serving all over India die Unsung & their NOK discriminated in getting Ex-Gratia & even a CLASS IV compassionate appointment. The NOK of Terrorists have no such restrictions & can be appointed at any post as has been done by NC � Congress combine with Sayed Salahuddin�s children who were given Govt Jobs.�
He added, �Surprisingly scholarships to the 118 NOK of martyrs is at measly Rs.250 each whilst 1600 terrorists NOK get Rs.750 & Rs.12000. The same has been going on since long & now the BJP Govt at Center has to answer why it is letting this system continue as from 05AUG2019 the UT is under Presidents Rule. It does seem that even now the BJP Govt wants to appease the Terrorists over the Patriotic Forces.�
He said that JKNPP demands that NOK of all Armed Forces Martyrs be given a Job commensurate to their qualification; these compassionate appointment be made for all Armed Forces Martyrs irrespective of the place of martyrdom; Ex-Gratia be increased to Rs.30 Lakh and Job Reservation for Ex-Servicemen be restored to the earlier 10% vertical and not 6% horizontal which was done by NC Govt.
He also demanded that all Job vacancies be referred to Rajya Sanik Board for recommendation of ESM. Suitable Housing Plot be given to the NOK of martyrs.
