Like the earlier lunar eclipse, this lunar eclipse will be a penumbral one. A penumbral eclipse looks similar to a full moon but the moon is present on the faint outer side of the Earth's shadow.
The first lunar eclipse for the year 2020 occurred back in January 2020 and now the next lunar eclipse is all set to occur today - more like between today and tomorrow, June 5 and June 6.

A lunar eclipse is when the Moon, Earth, and the Sun come in a straight line with the Earth between the Sun and the Moon. This is when a lunar eclipse happens. The Earth blocks the Sun’s light rays from reaching the Moon thus casting a shadow. As the alignment changes - three kinds of lunar eclipses are possible - a total lunar eclipse, partial lunar eclipse, and penumbral lunar eclipse.
