Now anyone can get information by putting right to information (RTI) on Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier this right was given to the original citizens and domicile of Jammu and Kashmir. The hearing of RTI cases of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will start from May 15 in the Central Information Commission.

Minister of State of the Prime Minister's Office, Dr. Jitendra said that before August 2019, Jammu and Kashmir had its own right to information. Now any citizen of the country can get any information about Jammu Kashmir by filing RTI from any corner. He clarified that no one needs to go out of the house, from filing an RTI to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh until the reply is received.
