The BJP on Wednesday released a message saying an eminent personality will join the party in the afternoon.

In all likelihood, the personality is Jyotirditya Scindia, who had met PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday before resigning from the Congress.

The message said an eminent personality would join the BJP in the presence of BJP president JP Nadda on Wednesday at 12.30 pm at the BJP headquarters here.
