Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday visited the Jagannath Temple in Puri to offer prayers.

Accompanied by Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union MSME Minister Pratap Sarangi, Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, BJP’s Odisha in-charge Arun Singh and BJP national vice president and spokesperson Baijayant Panda Shah entered the shrine in the morning to seek blessings.

After returning from Puri, Shah visited the Lingaraj temple in Capital Bhubaneswar at around 11:15 am.

After inaugurating a Private Hospital, SUM Ultimate of SOA University, Amit Shah left Bhubaneswar.

Amit Shah was on a two-day visit to Odisha. He had chaired the Eastern Zonal Council meeting on Friday and addressed a pro-CAA gathering at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar yesterday. Shah had lunch at Naveen Niwas with Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Mamata Banerjee and Nitish Kumar and his cabinet colleague Dharmendra Pradhan.
