A workshop on “Research methodology in History" organized by the Department of History, University of Jammu (JU), was inaugurated in the conference hall of the computer sciences department by Prof Nirmal K Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister of erstwhile J&K State.

He spoke about the importance of working on the history of Jammu especially the ancient part of history.

Prof Manoj Dhar, Vic-Chancellor, University of Jammu, stated that the research in history was no different from research in natural sciences.
