Eastern Railway Recruitment Cell has postponed the online application process for 2792 apprentice vacancies for a week. Notification in this regard was released by the Railways today. Earlier, the online application process for 2792 apprentice vacancies in various trades in Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway was to start today from 14 February 2020. The candidates who have to apply for the Eastern Railway Apprentice will be able to visit the official website of RRC-ER after the online application starts.

Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway has notified notifications for a total of 2792 vacancies of apprentices for various trades in workshops located in various divisions - Howrah, Sealdah, Malda, Asansol, Kanchrapara, Liluha, Jamalpur (No. RRC-ER / Act Apprentices / 2019-20) was released on 27 January 2020. According to the notification, the online application process has to start from 14 February to 13 March 2020.

Essential Qualification Criteria for Apprentice Vacancies

For the application for 2792 Apprentice Vacancies in Eastern Railway, it is required that the candidate has passed the 10th examination from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks as well as obtained NCVT / SCVT certificate in the relevant trade. However, for some trades, the 8th should be accompanied by NCVT / SCVT certificate. For more information, see the official notification.

Also, the age of the candidates should be minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 24 years on the last date of application. However, the maximum age limit has been relaxed as per rules for reserved categories candidates.
