Ex-militant commander Abdullah Ghazali found dead in mosque

One of Kashmir's oldest terrorist commanders, leader of Jamiat-e-Ahl-Hadith, Abdul Ghani Dar alias Abdullah Ghazali was killed in a mosque on Thursday. In the afternoon, his blood-stained body was seen in a corner by Namazis. The police is investigating based on CCTV footage. The cause of the killing of Abdul Gani Dar alias Abdullah Ghazali is not known yet. He had bruises on his head and blood was seeping from the wounds.

First quarreled with the young man wearing a helmet
Sources said that Abdul Ghani Dar had come to the mosque in the afternoon. CCTV footage shows that he had a fight with a young man wearing a helmet. Scramble in both was captured on camera. After the attack, Ghazali fell to the ground and the attacker managed to escape. However, police station in-charge Zahoor Ahmed said that some suspicious elements have been identified.

There is also an association with the ISJK
Ghazali has been the Commander in Chief of the terrorist organization Tehreek-ul Mujahideen. He is also said to be associated with the terrorists associated with Al-Qaeda and JKIS, who are walking in Kashmir. His son-in-law Ejaz Ahmad Ahangar alias Huzaif al-Pakistani is considered to be the main mastermind of the ISJK.

The plot to kill Maulana was hatched by Lashkar and Ghazali was also accused. The name of Dr. Kasim Fakhtu, husband of women separatist leader Asiya Andrabi, was also mentioned in this.

First caught in 1992
Abdul Ghani Dar, a resident of Budgam, was first caught in 1992. After his release from prison, he again became active in terrorist activities. In the year 2002, he was caught by BSF near Lalchowk. After his release in 2015, he was active as a motivator, overground worker and religious leader for terrorist organizations.

Son-in-law is running ISJK
Abdullah Ghazali married the daughter of Srinagar terrorist Ejaz Ahangar. Ejaz Ahngar went to Afghanistan in 1995 with his wife through Pakistan. His son Abdullah Ibne Ejaz alias Abu Umair was killed in July 2017 in a drone attack on terrorists by the US military in Afghanistan. Ejaz Ahangar is now running ISJK activities in Kashmir through its network from Afghanistan and Pakistan.
