Iltija Mufti, the daughter of Peoples Democratic Party President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, blamed the PSA on her mother and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. Iltija alleged that PSA has not applied to Umar and Mehbooba for inflammatory statements. His crime is to question the actions of the central government in Jammu and Kashmir.

Iltija has alleged that she was not allowed to talk to her mother and that she would send her mother hiding letters among the chapattis. On August 5, 2019, several leaders were taken into preventive custody after Article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir. Many of these have been released in a phased manner.

On Thursday evening, Omar and Mehbooba were booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA). Iltija Mufti targeted the central government by tweeting on her mother Mehbooba's official Twitter handle. Since September last year, Iltija has been handling her Twitter handle on behalf of her mother. Iltija, referring to her experiences of the past six months on Twitter, wrote that after detaining the mother (Mehbooba), the entire family faced many problems.

It is not known for several days how the mother is. A few days later a slip written in his hand was found in a tiffin sent to him. In it, he wrote that the government has taken an undertaking from me that I will not use social media for conversation. If someone else does, then a case of cheating will be filed. Iltija said that when I received my mother's first letter, we did not understand how to send the reply. My grandmother suggested a unique path, the letter I wrote on a small slip, and it was folded neatly and hidden within a chapati. This sequence lasted for a few days. Let me tell you that the administration had given the facility to send food for Mehbooba from home. In another tweet, Iltija wrote, Omar and Mehbooba have been imposed only after questioning the actions of the Center in Jammu and Kashmir. There is a direct and clear message that the BJP's blasphemer will be responsible for his own loss.

In another tweet, Iltija wrote that if you question the absurd steps of the BJP, you will be anti-national.
