No cases or symptoms of corona virus have been detected so far in Jammu and Kashmir, but 21 people who returned from China this week have been kept under isolation in their homes. Meanwhile, a man returned from Thailand went to the Government Medical College (GSMC) hospital himself to be tested for corona virus. This person had a sore throat and also complained of cough.

Taking the matter seriously, the GMC management has sent all its samples to the laboratory in Pune. An official of the Jammu and Kashmir Health Department said that 21 people had returned from China this week. Of these 14 are from Kashmir and seven from Jammu province. They have been kept in isolation in their homes under close monitoring. He said the blood and other samples of 11 people were sent for examination. Seven of these were from Jammu and four from Kashmir. Seven samples have been reported and none of the symptoms of Karona virus have been found.

Person reached GMC to investigate:

According to health department sources, a person who returned from Thailand had a cough and cough. Fearing the Korana virus, he arrived at the GMC for investigation on Tuesday. According to GMC's principal Sunanda Raina, the man had a sore throat and a cold, and he himself went to the GMC to investigate. Doctors have taken samples for necessary investigation and sent them to the laboratory in Pune. Till the report comes the person has been advised to take precaution.

Many questions are unresolved.

The government has deployed medical teams at the airport to examine Indians returning from China, Japan and Southeast Asia countries. In such a situation, if the person returned from Thailand was suffering from infection, why was he not investigated at any airport? -Why no one investigated the person at Delhi airport? How did this person come to Jammu airport without investigation. He himself reached the investigation at GMC. Need to investigate this?

Pulwama student is also under investigation :

A few days ago, when a student studying in China returned home, the Health Department team took her to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences. This student has been admitted to the hospital and her blood samples have also been sent to Pune for examination. This student has been admitted to isolation ward. The condition of the student is normal and there are currently no symptoms of corona virus.

No need to fear, complete arrangements have been made: Dullu

Financial Health and Medical Education Department Atal Dullu on Wednesday appealed to the people not to get terrorized on the corona virus and said that complete preparations have been made to deal with it. He said that no samples have been found in any of the samples taken so far. The administration is constantly monitoring the situation. Local citizens returning from China are constantly being monitored. All arrangements have been made in all government hospitals to deal with any emergency.

A 22-bed isolation ward has also been constructed at the Medical College Jammu Hospital and a 33-bed isolation ward at the Srinagar Medical College Hospital. Apart from this, both these hospitals also have facilities to collect samples for screening of suspected patients. Medical personnel and medical personnel have been deployed in sufficient number of hospitals. The guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in this regard are being followed in full. People are being made aware by putting up hurdles at the airport and elsewhere.
