Incense sticks of wasted flowers will be made after being used in Vaishno Devi Bhavan and other areas. In this, after collecting flowers from temples, separating their petals, washing, drying, grinding, and working on making incense sticks.
For this, consultation and technical assistance will be sought from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP), Lucknow. For this, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has signed MoU with CSIR-CIMAP. In this, agarbattis will be produced by developing small structures.
