Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra on Monday approached Bhutan's new State leader Tshering Tobgay in Thimpu and examined areas of shared interest and diverse collaboration to additional lift India's relations with the Himalayan country.

On a three-day visit to Bhutan, Kwatra will flag India's advantage in Ruler Jigme Khesar Wangchuck's aggressive break-out project — the Gelephu Extraordinary Managerial Locale Undertaking — which is pointed as a monetary scaffold between South Asia and Southeast Asia, including Assam, West Bengal in India, and stretching out to Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, and Singapore.
