One warrior was killed and two others harmed on Thursday in a landmine blast in Nowshera region close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri area.

According to reports, the departed was an Agniveer trooper hailing from Ludhiana. While one of the harmed troopers has experienced serious wounds, the other supported a few minor wounds. The troopers had a place with the 17 Sikh Light Infantry.

According to a Military authority, the occurrence occurred at around 10.30am on Thursday when the warriors were on a watch obligation near Line of Control.

The occurrence occurred 300 meters from the forward safeguard line.

The harmed were promptly carried to the Order Emergency clinic at Udhampur.

Landmines have turned into a significant reason for stress for the Military as such occurrences are normal along LoC in Rajouri and Poonch regions.
