India opener Shubman Gill reached a career-best 25 on Wednesday, while his batting counterpart Yashasvi Jaiswal and spinner Kuldeep Yadav also made remarkable strides in recent ICC T20Is.
Gill rose to 43 after his 77 and nine in the five-match series against the West Indies.
His previous record was 30 behind New Zealand's 126 in Ahmedabad earlier this year.
In the fourth match, Gill added 165 with Jaiswal for the first wicket, which is also India's highest first-wicket score. According to the International Criminal Court, Jaiswal rose more than a thousand places to the 88th position. A wrist-tied Yadav is now ranked 28th after rising from 23rd place after two points in the fourth match in Lauderhill, Florida.
The Caribbean players also improved their ranking after a 3-2 win over India.
Brandon King moved up to 13th after hitting a 55-ball 85 not out in the final game to move up five places, Kyle Mayers moved up two places to 45th, and Shimron Hetmyer 16 places to 85th.
Among the bowlers, Akeal Hosein has now moved three places to 11th, while former captain Jason Holder is 25th.
