A fresh batch of 2,100 pilgrims left Jammu city for the twin base camps in the valley to join the Amarnath Yatra on Friday, officials said.

To review the effective response of BSF Medical Camp & Disaster Response Team during AmarnathYatra Sh P V Rama Sastry IPS, SDG (WC) visited Panchtarni BSF Base Camp. He interacted with troops & applauded their professionalism & dedication during the distress calls of pilgrims.

In Kashmir Valley, the Amarnath Yatra this year has achieved a momentous milestone, surpassing the total number of pilgrims from the previous year. Yesterday, a total of 9,150 Yatris had the privilege of performing darshan at the sacred Cave, contributing to the cumulative figure of 3,69,288.
