More than 50 locations on the grounds of G-Square Relations, a real estate firm purportedly intimately associated with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and his family, are the target of raids by the Income Tax Department.
Sabareesan, the home of Stalin's son-in-law, is being searched and raided by tax inspectors.also the home of the auditor. K. Annamalai, the head of the Tamil Nadu BJP, recently revealed the "DMK files," in which he claimed that Udayanidhi Stalin, a current minister, and his son-in-law Sabareesan had amassed money well in excess of their recognised sources of income. Several people claimed that G-When Stalin served as the Deputy Chief Minister in the Cabinet of his father Karunanidhi, Square had unrestricted support. According to Annamalai, the alleged money-laundering occurred during both M. Karunanidhi and the DMK administration before the current one.
