In the life of children bereft of schooling, education in a government school in the city has started burning. The first education center of the state has been opened under the Right to Education (RTE) at Government Middle School Bala Jammu. It has enrolled 22 children. These children were seen begging or working with wage-based parents. Now, these children are coming to school every day. Free education material and uniform has given them the identity of the student like other school children.

Center has been opened for teaching poor children in Government Middle School Bala Jammu. 22 children have been registered at the center. They are also coming to the center to study daily. Two teachers have been deployed by the Education Department to get these children educated. This teacher is taking care of the children from home to school and taking care of their education.
