COVID-19 cases in India has crossed the 31 lakh mark while over 58,000 people have died so far even as the country heads towards Unlock 4 from September 1. Meanwhile, coronavirus cases continue to peak in India with nearly 70,000 cases being recorded on a daily basis. On the other hand, students across the country have started protests after the education ministry said Joint Entrance Examination JEE-Main and the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) will be conducted in September as scheduled. Over 4,000 students observed a hunger strike seeking postponement of the competitive exams over the coronavirus situation.
