The Internet has been started in Kargil of Union Territory of Ladakh. On August 5, Internet services in Kargil were shut down after Article-370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir and the state was split in two.

Now five months later the internet has been started. Let me tell you that broadband service was already restored in Kargil.
