Continuing its welfare initiatives during ongoing lockdown imposed due to COVID-19 threat, Team Jammu came forward with another noble cause of donating blood for needy. The Team Jammu volunteers, led by Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal, donated blood for patients who were in severe need of same because of certain ailments, including kids suffering from Thelasemia, pregnant women and patients suffering from chronic diseases like cancer, whose parents approached Team Jammu for assistance.

According to Zorawar Singh Jamwal, the Team Jammu has prepared a list of young volunteers, who have offered themselves for donating blood at the time of crisis. “Besides continuing our drives of distributing dry ration among poor and installing containers of sanitisers at public places, we have started this new initiative after receiving reports about shortage of blood in hospitals,” he said.
